The Wedge-Pro® Material Stop provides fast, repeatable segment length setup while also functioning as a precision dual-bearing thin-rip jig. Featuring epoxy-inlaid imperial and metric scales, a zero-reference stop, and a quick-adjust cam lock, it is the perfect companion to any Wedge-Pro® sled.
The Wedge-Pro® Material Stop was specifically designed for segmented woodturning, providing a fast and accurate method for setting repeatable segment lengths while also functioning as a precision thin-rip jig.

The optional material stop has been specially designed to work with the Wedge-Pro®PL cutting sled. Since the material stop needs to remain stationary during use, the miter bar utilizes two knobs and wedge bolts that can secure the bar in place. The material stop allows for segment lengths from 0″ – 3-1/2″ and has a built-in bearing allowing the material stop to be turned around and used as a thin-rip cutting jig.
Accurate segmented rings require consistent segment lengths. The Wedge-Pro® Material Stop allows you to quickly set repeatable lengths using the epoxy-inlaid scales, zero-reference stop, and caliper-friendly adjustment design.
The integrated dual-bearing thin-rip feature adds even more value by allowing the tool to be used for precise narrow ripping operations, reducing the need for a separate specialty thin-rip jig.
